The Friday gathering

The whole camp, in one circle, before the weekend

On Friday morning campers bake challah and rehearse the week's songs. At 12:45 p.m. every group joins one circle on the lawn, or in the social hall when it rains. We sing, break the challah together and tell the stories of the week. Families are welcome for the last half hour, and pickup follows.

  • Challah baked by campers that morning

  • Songs in Hebrew and English

  • The week's stories, told by the groups

  • Families welcome for the last half hour
